"Greatest Hits Vol. 2" is the second greatest hits album and fourth U.S. #1 album by Barbra Streisand. Released in 1978, it included Streisand's greatest hits from the previous eight years with one new track, "You Don't Bring Me Flowers," a duet with Neil Diamond which never appeared on a previous Streisand album. "Greatest Hits Vol. 2" was also the only Streisand album where the song “Prisoner” appeared. It originally appeared on the now out-of-print soundtrack album to "The Eyes of Laura Mars".

Recorded in late 1972, "Alone Again, Naturally" was the follow-up to Esther Phillips' Grammy nominated "From A Whisper To A Scream". Producer Creed Taylor assembled a stellar cast of musicians including George Benson, Maceo Parker, Eric Gayle, Bernard Purdie, Ron Carter, Richard Tee and Billy Cobham. A great choice of repertoire and superb arrangements from Pee Wee Ellis and Don Sebesky melded perfectly with Esther's smoky vocals to produce one of the finest albums of her career. Both critics and NARAS voters took note, the latter awarding Ms. Phillips a second Grammy nomination for this Kudu classic.

Stanley Kubrick’s account of an ambitious racetrack robbery is one of Hollywood’s tautest, twistiest noirs. Aided by a radically time-shuffling narrative, razor-sharp dialogue from pulp novelist Jim Thompson, and a phenomenal cast of character actors, including Sterling Hayden, Coleen Gray, Timothy Carey, Elisha Cook Jr., and Marie Windsor, The Killing is both a jaunty thriller and a cold-blooded punch to the gut. And with its precise tracking shots and gratifying sense of irony, it’s Kubrick to the core.

Filmmaker Rodrigo García takes an unusual look into the lives of nine different women in this episodic drama. Each of the film's nine sequences has been staged as a single shot, using the Steadicam system to allow the camera to follow the action fluidly and without cuts. In these short episodes (lasting between ten and 14 minutes), Holly (Lisa Gay Hamilton) has a brief moment of reverie while confronting the specters of her past in her old neighborhood. Maggie (Glenn Close) escorts her young daughter Maria (Dakota Fanning) to a cemetery as they visit the graves of their family members. Ruth (Sissy Spacek) is a married woman contemplating an affair while visiting Henry (Aidan Quinn) in his hotel room……
