Bob has teamed up with Ten frontman, and longstanding Magnum fan, Gary Hughes who has written all the songs on "The Tower" (as well as producing and playing bass and keyboards). "The Tower" was written with classic Magnum very much in mind and harks back to "On A Storyteller's Night" style pomp meeting "Wings Of Heaven" style AOR with a very 90s melodic rock production bringing the old sound bang up to date.

Though he released Live in Williamsburg back in 2014, it has been 44 years since guitar wizard Shuggie Otis released a studio album. Coming of age first with his father Johnny's wonderfully raucous R&B band and playing on sessions by T-Bone Walker and Big Joe Turner, Otis gained first notice from rock fans for his starring role on Kooper Session: Super Session, Vol. 2). He released three fine studio albums under his own name between 1970 and 1974 including the classic Inspiration Information. (Live in Williamsburg was cut during a global tour celebrating its 40th anniversary reissue that included a bonus disc of odds-and-sods material recorded between 1975 and 2000 titled Wings of Love.)

Tom Waits' debut album is a minor-key masterpiece filled with songs of late-night loneliness. Within the apparently narrow range of the cocktail bar pianistics and muttered vocals, Waits and producer Jerry Yester manage a surprisingly broad collection of styles, from the jazzy "Virginia Avenue" to the up-tempo funk of "Ice Cream Man" and from the acoustic guitar folkiness of "I Hope That I Don't Fall in Love With You" to the saloon song "Midnight Lullaby," which would have been a perfect addition to the repertoires of Frank Sinatra or Tony Bennett…

2007 release of a 3 CD box set that showcases the American singer/songwriter's best recordings, including all of her singles released between 1982 and 1991, her favourite album tracks, 16 extended song versions, 15 songs released on CD for the first time ever and five tracks that have been previously unreleased in any form. CD's 1 & 2 feature all the hit singles (extended versions wherever possible) while CD3 features the "precious ones" and rarities. Among those are four Spanish recordings, 4 James Bond film theme songs recorded in February 1984, considered the rarest Rush recordings ever, and a 2007 club remix of "I Come Undone" by DJ Dave Kurtis.
