In early 2003, Calexico released their seminal album ‘Feast of Wire’, the album that truly marked the duo’s critical and commercial breakthrough. Beginning in June, the band will play a series of headline shows across the year performing the landmark ‘Feast of Wire’ in full as well as a slew of beloved songs from the band’s full repertoire. In addition to the headline dates, the band will play a handful of festivals as well across Europe. City Slang releases a re-mastered deluxe edition of the album incl bonus track and a bonus live album.

Opus Dei, the band’s first album for Mute, was mixed by Rico Conning (Wire, Pere Ubu, Swans, William Orbit) and the band’s classic Laibachian interpretations of Opus’ ‘Live Is Life’ (here presented in English as ‘Opus Dei’ and in German as ‘Leben heisst Leben’) and Queen’s ‘One Vision’ (reworked as ‘Geburt Einer Nation’) soon saw them emerge from the shadows as they garnered support from the likes of MTV and ITV’s The Chart Show. This mainstream spotlight, coupled with memorable features in the music press, opened up opportunities for the Slovenian collective that included their first world tour. Performances from the tour from London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall, San Francisco, Berlin, Paris and “somewhere in Europe” make up the second CD of the expanded remastered edition.

Push the Sky Away is the fifteenth studio album by Australian rock band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, released on February 18, 2013 through the band's own label, Bad Seed Ltd.
Push the Sky Away was recorded between 2011 and 2012 at La Fabrique Studios in a 19th century mansion in Saint-Remy-de-Provence, France, directed by Nick Lonet, producer of Nocturama, Abattoir Blues/The Lyre of Orpheus and Dig, Lazarus, Dig!, as well as Grinderman and Grinderman. The album cover was created by French photographer Dominique Issermann and features The Bad Seeds frontman Nick Cave and his wife Susan Beek.

Musically, ‘The Ultra Vivid Lament’ is inspired by a formative years record box (ABBA, post-Eno Roxy, the Bunnymen, Fables-era REM, Lodger) though the end result could only be the unique union of James Dean Bradfield, Nicky Wire and Sean Moore, collectively one of the UK’s most consistently brilliant rock’n’roll bands for over three decades.
