Men at Work were one of the more surprising success stories of the new wave era, rocketing out of Australia in 1982 to become the most successful artist of the year. With its Police-styled rhythms, catchy guitar hooks, wailing saxophones, and off-kilter sense of humor, the band's debut album, Business as Usual, became an international blockbuster, breaking the American record for the most weeks a debut spent at the top of the charts. Their funny, irreverent videos became MTV favorites, helping send "Who Can It Be Now?" and "Down Under" to number one. Men at Work's momentum sustained them through their second album, 1983's Cargo, before the bottom fell out of the band's popularity. After releasing Two Hearts in 1985, Men at Work broke up, becoming one of the better-remembered phenomena of new wave.

This Woman's Work: Anthology 1978–1990 is a compilation box set by the English singer-songwriter Kate Bush. Released in 1990 on CD, vinyl and cassette; it comprises her six studio albums to that point together with two additional albums of B-sides, rarities and remixes. The two rarities discs are entitled This Woman's Work: Volume One and This Woman's Work: Volume Two (in the vinyl edition the twenty-nine tracks are spread over three LPs), and have never been released as albums separately from the box set.

The tenor-saxophonist Ray Blue breathes energy and optimism on the cover of his new album, entitled Work. The most curious thing is that his music leaves the same impression. The secret here, apparently, is what sense Ray puts into the concept of work, which, judging by the special detailed explanation in the booklet, is conceptual in nature. So, for Ray Blue, “work is not hard work, work brings satisfaction, work meets our goals and aspirations of life, there is always room for humor in work, work is a combination of God's gift with our responsibility, work encourages our self-esteem and dedication, work “This is our spiritual connection with life, work accustoms to order and planning, work heals wounds, massages the soul and frees the child within you.” Presumably, such a credo for Ray applies not only to this project, but also to his creative activity as a whole.

Man @ Work is the eighth studio album by Scottish Australian singer Colin Hay, released by Compass Records in July 2003.
