is a five-issue limited series published by Marvel Comics under its Marvel Knights imprint from November 2008 to March 2009. In the Marvel Knights tradition of dealing with more mature themes, it goes back to the year 1935 to show the difficulties and horrors the boy Erik Lensherr faced growing up Jewish in Nazi-occupied Germany and his evolution to become Magneto, the Master of Magnetism and the most terrible foe the X-Men have ever faced.
