EXTRAORDINARY 1976 BROADCAST FROM THE MID-PERIOD YES LINE-UP Between 1975 and 1976, each member of Yes released a solo album. Their subsequent 1976 tour of North America with Peter Frampton featured some of the band's most-attended shows. Their concert on of 12 June, also supported by Gary Wright and Pousette-Dart Band at John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia, attracted over 100,000 people. Titled ‘the solo-albums tour’, the jaunt was essentially a ‘greatest-hits-to-date’ affair, with several songs from the aforementioned solo-efforts thrown into the mix for good measure. The band hadn’t released a group album since Relayer in 1974, prior to which which Rick Wakeman had left Yes over disagreements about their previous record. One of the finest concerts of the tour took place at Roosevelt Stadium in Jersey City, New Jersey, on 17th June ’76, where Jon Anderson, Chris Squire, Steve Howe, Patrick Moraz and Alan White collectively played a superb gig which was recorded for live FM radio broadcast. Previously unreleased, this stunning event is now available in full on this new 2CD set.

Yes Remixes is a remix album featuring the songs of progressive rock band Yes and was released in 2003. Taking material harking back from 1970's Time and a Word to 1980s Drama, Virgil Howe a.k.a. "The Verge" (and son of Steve Howe) re-imagined Yes's music into a techno context, dramatically altering the band's sound. Although it briefly dented the remix sales charts, the album failed to chart at all in the regular listings.

Decades after its release, Tales from Topographic Oceans is still the most controversial record in Yes' output. This was the place where Yes either fulfilled all of the promise shown on their previous five albums or slid off the rails in a fit of artistic hubris, especially on the part of lead singer Jon Anderson and guitarist Steve Howe, who dominated the composition credits here…
