This album is a great melodic metal/rock album that also dabbles in other styles, similar to the way a old Queen album would. Michael Vescera: Strawberry Fields is something that's sort of an anthem for MVP. When I first did shows in the beginning of MVP we would do that version. The crowds would go absolutely crazy for it, so we decided to put on "Windows".

The German heavy metal outfit, Rage, originally formed in the early '80s, and although the group has issued albums on a steady basis ever since, lead singer/bassist Peter "Peavey" Wagner is the only original member still in attendance. First known as Avenger, the group issued a pair of recordings (Prayer of Steel and Depraved to Black) before switching their name to Rage, to avoid confusion with a British band of the same name. 1986's Reign of Fear signaled the group's first album to be released under their new name, as they continued on in the same heavy hitting musical direction on subsequent releases; although they used some orchestral flourishes on their late-'90s experimental albums Lingua Mortis (1996) and XIII (1999)…

Excellent melodic hard rock disc! Rob Rock simply annihilates. Anything the man sings over becomes an instant classic. This album has the best combination of killer vocals, and ripping solo's. Joshua knows how to slow down and play the perfect solo to each song. This album was produced by Eddie Kramer, who has produced for Kiss, Led Zeppelin, and Jimi Hendrix, along with Dieter Dierks, who has produced albums for bands like Accept, Scorpions and Twisted Sister. Arguably Joshua's best disc, although some would say that honor goes to "Surrender."
