Young Ones

Documentary celebrating the legacy of one of the most notorious British sitcoms of all time, The Young Ones. The programme features archive footage with revelations from many of the stars who were involved, including Nigel Planer, Alexei Sayle and John Lloyd, and comedians David Baddiel, Charlie Higson and Clive Anderson discuss how the show influenced their own work and the British comedy scene.

Set in a near future when water has become the most precious and dwindling resource on the planet, one that dictates everything from the macro of political policy to the detailed micro of interpersonal family and romantic relationships.

"The Young Ones" is a soundtrack album by Cliff Richard and the Shadows to the film of the same name. It is their first soundtrack album and Richard's sixth album overall. It was produced by Norrie Paramor, with music by Ronald Cass and Stanley Black. The album topped the UK Albums Chart for six weeks (with another eleven weeks at number two) and charted for 42 weeks in total when the chart was a top twenty. The album became the first UK soundtrack to sell more than one million copies in total, combining UK and international sales.

For The Good Ones’ new album, RWANDA, you should be loved, bandleader Adrien Kazigira composed over forty songs. Most were meditations on his now thirteen-year-old daughter, Marie-Claire, and the life-threatening tumor that has afflicted her left-eye. The recording was done live without overdubs on Adrien’s farm and was imbued with the passing of producer Ian Brennan’s mother during the days that they were there together as well as a former founding band member recently having succumbed to his own demons.
