Breaking News in Yuba County is a 2021 American comedy-drama film directed and co-produced by Tate Taylor, from a screenplay written by Amanda Idoko. Jeff Beal is an American composer of music for film, media, and the concert hall. With musical beginnings as a jazz trumpeter and recording artist, his works are infused with an understanding of rhythm and spontaneity. With its throbbing bass, haunted-house keyboards and jangling tambourine, "The Pines" might be the band's most "dance-y" song on this record.
