Genre: Techno, Dance, House / Label: Toolroom

With the same certainty that the leaves will turn brown and fall from the trees, autumn sees the release of Toolroom's closing party album. Its the labels annual state of the house nation address and 2018 is no exception. While this years edition contains a healthy smattering of feel good house - the most impressive exempts being the vocal grooves of Weiss Feel My Needs and Illyus & Barrientos there are also more adventurous variants on offer. These include Peggy Gous tweaked acid take on Shakedowns At Night, the chord heavy Dusky take on KiNKs Perth and the cut-up, abstract Pale Blue Dot by rising lo-fi house artist Ross From Friends, which demonstrate that this year, Toolroom is thinking outside the box.

Gila - Discography [3 Albums] (1971-1999)
EAC Rip | FLAC (tracks+.cue+log) - 650 MB | MP3 CBR 320 kbps (LAME 3.93) - 286 MB | Covers - 396 MB
Genre: Progressive Rock, Krautrock | RAR 3% Rec. | Label: Garden of Delights

Gila (1971). Often referred by the title Free Electric Sound, Gila's debut is an amazing work, full of acid guitar freakouts, spacy organ and mellotron, exotic rhythm structures, and loads of electronic effects to fully realize the psychedelic visions. From the Floydian space rock of the first two tracks the record moves into even stranger realms on the four segued pieces that make up the second side of the original vinyl. "Kollaps" starts off with ritualistic drumming, a creepy organ riff, a crying baby, and guitar licks that threaten to explode at any moment. After some electronic effects "Kontakt" goes in an entirely different direction with airy acoustic guitar and keyboards and no rhythm section, like suddenly emerging into sunlight after the darkness of "Kollaps." As the track progresses seamlessly into "Kollektivivtat" and then "Individualitat" it again picks up momentum…
