Nathan Whitehead's beautiful, meditative yet occasionally terrifying score to DAYS GONE is one of our favorite pieces of video game music of 2019. A tragic slice of Americana, thrilling adventure, mixed with traditional horror elements. It is equal parts pulse pounding, heartbreaking and horrifying at the same time.

The soundtrack to the Queen biopic will please both casuals and obsessives. For the former, lots of hits: “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” “Under Pressure,” and, of course, the grandiose title track among them. And for the latter, Queen struts out rare live tracks and fresh updates to classics. “We Will Rock You” merges a studio and live performance, “Don’t Stop Me Now” features newly recorded guitar parts from Brian May. The surviving members of Queen also recorded their very own arrangement of the famous 20th Century Fox theme. But the biggest jewel in the crown is the addition of five songs from the band’s dramatic 1985 Live Aid performance—a faithful re-creation of which serves as the movie's climax—now available for the first time. Ayyy-oh!

Power Drift is a Japanese video game made for the Sega system in 1988. This is the music composed and performed by Hiroshi Kawaguchi and it was put together for release by Wave Master because rhythm is a dancer.

The soundtrack to Robert Wise’s film version of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music is being reissued across multiple formats, with a super deluxe edition offering “every musical element” from the film and a Dolby Atmos Mix.
The musical features classics such as as ‘My Favourite Things’, ‘Do-Re-Mi’, ‘The Sound of Music’ and ‘Edelweiss’ and Robert Wise walked away with Best Picture and Best Director Oscars (being director and co-producer) at the 1966 Academy Awards.
The new reissue is led by a 4CD+blu-ray super deluxe which features over 40 previously unreleased tracks, including 11 never-before-heard alternate takes and instrumentals of each song for that singalong-a-Sound-of-Music experience. The blu-rays capacity allows it to deliver the full score in hi-res stereo audio and well as a Dolby Atmos Mix of the 16-track original soundtrack.

Like the material it was written to complement, Adam Taylor’s soundtrack for Hulu’s adaptation of the dystopian classic The Handmaid’s Tale feels at once familiar and futuristic, hushed but deeply haunted. Sometimes, Taylor’s warping synthesizers and steadily mounting sense of dread capture the feel of an ‘80s slasher movie (“Chased”). At other times (“Ofglen and Offred”), it sounds like the lost hymn of an 18th-century period piece—a powerful (and at times powerfully unsettling) blend.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is a soundtrack album to the 1964 Rankin/Bass television special of the same name. The original cast recordings from the TV special (side "A" of the original LP release) are supplemented with instrumental versions recorded by the Decca Concert Orchestra (on side "B"). All songs used in the television special were written by Johnny Marks.

Dr. Dolittle 2 is the 2001 soundtrack to the film starring Eddie Murphy. This was released on the J label.
