The Eiger Sanction is a 1975 American action thriller based on the novel The Eiger Sanction by Trevanian which is the pseudonym for the American author Dr. Rodney William Whitaker. The film was directed by Clint Eastwood, who also starred as Dr. Jonathan Hemlock. The music was composed by John Williams.
