Of Corners & Bridges is the new album by New York musician Brian Jackson, released by Selo Sesc as a tribute to Milton Nascimento. A fan of the Brazilian artist since the 1970s, Jackson brought together Brazilian and international musicians to reinterpret 12 of Milton’s classics, such as “Travessia” (Bridges), “Viola Violar,” “Maria Maria,” “Fé Cega, Faca Amolada,” and “Caxangá.” Recorded in the same studio where Milton created much of his work, the album blends jazz, funk, soul, and experimental elements, featuring collaborations with artists like Georgia Anne Muldrow and Milton Nascimento himself. The cover art was created by Brazilian visual artists OSGEMEOS. Alex started playing guitar and singing at age 7. Influenced by his brother, who opened him the doors to all kinds of music. After playing with several local outfits in Barcelona, an 18 year old Alex joined harp bluesman Hook Herrera (Gov’t Mule, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Kid Ramos, Denny Freeman). Hook was Alex’s first mentor and also introduced him to the start of a music career by teaching him how to understand the music, specially the blues, and opening the doors into the profesional bussiness. With Hook Alex had the chance to play in the best festivals and clubs all over Europe.

"Feelin' Bitchy" is a 1977 album by singer-songwriter, Millie Jackson. It features two of Jackson's best known songs, the Merle Haggard cover "If You're Not Back in Love by Monday" (which became a U.S. pop hit for Jackson), and the Latimore track "All the Way Lover". The latter features one of Millie's trademark extended raps, this time on the topic of men who refuse to perform oral sex on their partners.
