Analogue Production

On a quest for cosmic grooves of unity, Àbáse is the imagination of Hungarian producer and keyboardist Szabolcs Bognár. Creating an exquisite blend of jazz, West African, Brazilian, hip-hop and electronic music, he set to release his second album ‘Awakening’ in collaboration with Analogue Foundation in summer 2024.

Siena Root came to life in Stockholm and is today considered one of the pioneering Swedish bands in roots rock music. They persistently pulled through with releasing their first album on vinyl back in 2004, long before the retro trend had people carrying down their old turntables from the attic. The quest to bring out the beauty of analogue music production to the listeners continued. The live act came to be an uncompromising show, using all the heavy vintage equipment that most bands lack the strength and passion to carry along. Even a full size multi-track tape recorder was brought on tour during the recording of the live album.

Mark Nodwell surfaces as as a formidable modern jazz composer on Nemesis. This album of audiophile quality covers of Soul and R&B classics from the 70s and 80s was done in an 'unplugged' style with acoustic instruments and arrangements used on all of the tracks. Vocals are tremendously dynamic (no compression or limiting used), with superb presence and detail for all other instruments including the drum set. Resolution is of the highest order and this is an LP that rewards for both musical performance and outstanding audio quality.

Time Fades Away is a 1973 live album by Neil Young & The Stray Gators, consisting of previously unreleased material. It was recorded on one of the tours supporting 1972's highly successful 'Harvest'.
