Les fans de reggae bordelais connaissent bien le Booboo'zzz All Stars. Groupe live emblématique de l'Aquitaine formé par des membres de Wyman Low & The Ravers, The Jouby's ou encore Train's Tone, la formation a longtemps ravi le public bordelais lors de concerts mémorables où les musiciens s'amusaient à reprendre différents titres à la sauce reggae. L'aventure se poursuit aujourd'hui sur un disque avec l'album Studio Reggae Bash qui regroupe treize titres interprétés par des artistes français comme Volodia, Flox, Max Livio, Guive ou encore Peter Harper. Chacun y va de sa reprise et tous les styles y passent ; de la chanson française (Alain Bashung, Maxime Le Forestier) au rap (MC Solaar, Gorillaz) en passant par la pop (Björk) ou la soul (Amy Winehouse, Tom Jones…). Carrying on GROUNDATION’s rich history and the high standards, that were set by the musicians before; honouring what was done and pushing further still. A new generation formed in the SONOMA Jazz University too takes the reins with still the famous sound engineer JIM FOX who’s making THE GROUNDATION’s music since the beginning.
