Dilermando Reis (1916-1977) was probably the most famous Brazilian guitar master. Gotas de Lagrimas (Drops of Tears) is a very important album for Brazilian guitar tradition, featuring compositions of Reis himself and renditions of well-known instrumental tunes. Li Jie (born 1981) is a Chinese classical guitarist. She began studying the classical guitar at the age of 11 (Chinese age) under Professor Chen Zhi. One year later, she appeared as a performer on the television program "Classical Guitar's Technique and Performance" of China's official national television station CCTV. In 1995, she enrolled into the Middle School (high school) of the prestigious Central Conservatory of Music (CCM) in China. In 2000, she was admitted to the CCM.

There's a contest called "Young talent guitarist opening contest" held for each 2 or 3 years in Viet Nam. This CD is a collection of winning prizes, almost tracks are produced by famous authors, there's only 1 track produced by Vietnamese, I hope you like this CD.
