Manilow co-wrote with Maurice White of Earth, Wind & Fire the album track "Only in Chicago". "We Still Have Time" was taken from the film "Tribute".

It featured the title track, "Tryin' to Get the Feeling Again", with other hits including "New York City Rhythm", "Bandstand Boogie" (the theme from the long-running ABC series American Bandstand) and the chart topping "I Write the Songs". A Christmas Gift of Love was an album released in 2002 by singer and songwriter Barry Manilow. As Manilow's second compilation of Christmas songs, the album did quite well, and went Gold. Oddly enough, the album was done with Columbia Records instead of his usual label of Concord Records. However, as part of the agreement with Concord, the logo of both labels appear on this release.
