s is an ongoing comic book series published by Zenescope Entertainment that began publication in June 2005. It is a horror series that takes old fairy tales and gives them twists, sometimes extending them and sometimes changing them. The latest in this series, Issue No. 43 entitled "The Last Unicorn" was released Dec 23, 2009.

I thought Zenescope had their series of one-shots entitled complete when i posted them last March 18, 2009. As stated in said post, the continuity is that this series serves as prequel to Zenescope's hugely popular spin-off . It turns out Zenescope has one more tale to tell, , released just yesterday, June 17, 2009. As with the others of this title, it is about another Lewis Carroll character, the eponymous Cheshire Cat, that eventually appears in the storyline of the gruesome .

Crossed #8 (Of 9) Comics

is a a nine-issue limited series (10 if you count #0) written by Garth Ennis and drawn by Jacen Burrows and published by Avatar Press. It began with in August 27, 2008. It follows survivors dealing with a zombie-like plague that causes it victims to carry out their most evil thoughts and wishes, including murder, rape, mutilation, arson, etc. Carriers of the virus are known as the Crossed since a cross-like rash appears on their faces. This contagion is primarily spread through bite wounds but can be spread by any bodily fluid, which the Crossed use to deadly effect in one instance by treating their ammunition with their infected fluids, making even a flesh wound a disease vector. The main story takes place ten months after the first outbreaks, with flashbacks to those events. It is narrated in the past tense. The last issue #9 was solicited for release August 2009 yet but the latest tentative date of its actual publication is January 27, 2010. As with Garth Ennis' comics, extremely graphic, violent, and even more sexually explicit. Intended for Mature readers.
