Bloodshot Bill is back with So Fed Up, his brand new album on Goner Records, which will be released on June 13, 2025. He recorded So Fed Up straight to tape at his own SIN Studios, the way he always does it: fast, loud, and in control.

"Rock Around the Clock" is a rock and roll song in the 12-bar blues format written by Max C. Freedman and James E. Myers (the latter being under the pseudonym "Jimmy De Knight") in 1952. The best-known and most successful rendition was recorded by Bill Haley & His Comets in 1954 for American Decca. It was a number one single for two months[6] and did well on the United Kingdom charts; the recording also reentered the UK Singles Chart in the 1960s and 1970s.

Don Sebesky - I Remember Bill: A Tribute to Bill Evans (1998) is an album by the renowned American jazz arranger, conductor, and composer Don Sebesky, paying homage to the legendary jazz pianist Bill Evans. Released in 1998, the album features Sebesky’s arrangements and orchestration of Bill Evans’ compositions, capturing the essence of Evans’ emotive, harmonic style while adding Sebesky's own signature orchestral touch.

Originally recorded in 1957, these sessions turned out to be the last the legendary Big Bill Broonzy would record; only a little over a year later, he succumbed to lung cancer. This collection consists not of fan or producer favorites, but Broonzy favorites, and includes a variety of blues, folk, and devotional music. Though he was instrumental to the development of the blues and the Chicago sound, much of the material on this three-disc set reaches back to the music that the blues came from, with a lot of drop-in help from Broonzy's friends, of which there were many. That makes these recordings not only recordings, but documentation, a testament to a bluesman who was at once musician and historian.

A key figure of the pre-war Chicago blues scene, Big Bill Broonzy was working as a janitor at the Iowa State University when he received the invitation to perform a series of concerts in France during the Summer of 1951.

During lockdown, these two titans of left-field US songcraft collaborated remotely with a vast roll call of other musicians, recording cover versions by fellow masters (Leonard Cohen, Yusuf Islam) as well as their labelmates. A smattering of reworked originals includes electrifying takes on Callahan’s Our Anniversary and Oldham’s Arise, Therefore; the talents involved range from Cretan lute player George Xylouris to Australian guitarist Mick Turner (Dirty Three).
