After his earlier Italo-pop and his recent experiments with African-influenced music, Lorenzo Jovanotti release Capo Horn which. From the gentle start of "Per te" (for you) dedicated to his daughter, to more up beat numbers such as "Un raggio di Sole" (A ray of sunlight) the album really holds together with a wide range of influences, from jazz to funk to heavy rap. At one point he even inserts a short excerpt from the Sugarhill Gang's original "Rappers' Delight" (He did the whole song in his concert tour of Italy)...

Loro sono uno dei gruppo più noti del panorama musicale italiano, il loro profilo artistico è legato inconfondibilmente alla musica rap. Dall’esordio avvenuto nel 1998 con l’omonimo album, i Gemelli Diversi hanno dimostrato di avere uno spiccato talento per la musica e sopratutto per la scrittura.

«I disabili che viaggiano possono mostrarsi al mondo, diventare visibili, con dei corpi e delle richieste specifiche. Costringono a rivedere la cultura sulla diversità e a riadattare, per quanto possibile, l'esistente. Non restiamo chiusi in casa solo perché è troppo complicato uscire. Invadiamo i luoghi! Modifichiamoli a vantaggio di tutti.» Può una persona disabile andare a Capo Nord? Può, in generale, viaggiare? Certo che può. Anzi: deve. Tuttavia per arrivare ad avere un po' di autonomia personale, che spinga una persona con una qualche disabilità a desiderare un viaggio e che le consenta di progettarlo, occorre anche un'autonomia di contesto di vita, di educazione, di crescita che permetta l'uscita da casa. Il cosiddetto "contesto di fiducia" come lo chiamano al Centro Documentazione Handicap di Bologna..

Vladimir Ashkenazy has announced he will release his new recording of Bach’s English Suites 1 – 3 on a unique double album with his first Bach recording from 1965, the Concerto in D minor, on 15 October 2021. Over half a century, a remarkable 56 years, spans the two recordings marking the longest exclusive association between pianist and record label, Decca Classics, in history.

Love broadened their scope into psychedelia on their sophomore effort, Arthur Lee's achingly melodic songwriting gifts reaching full flower. The six songs that comprised the first side of this album when it was first issued are a truly classic body of work, highlighted by the atomic blast of pre-punk rock "Seven & Seven Is" (their only hit single), the manic jazz tempos of "Stephanie Knows Who," and the enchanting "She Comes in Colors," perhaps Lee's best composition (and reportedly the inspiration for the Rolling Stones' "She's a Rainbow").
