The Soundboard Series is a live box set recorded and released by the band Deep Purple in 2001. This 12 CD set includes 6 full length concerts from the March 2001 Deep Purple Australasian tour, recorded directly from the soundboard in either DAT or multi track formats. The concert performances included are, Melbourne 9th of March, 'Woolongong 13th of March, Newcastle 14th of March, Hong Kong 20th of March, Tokyo 24th of March & Tokyo 25th of March. The two Tokyo shows feature the talents of a full 80-piece symphony orchestra, plus Ronnie James Dio on 5 tracks!

Essentially an offshoot of Manfred Mann's 1966 Instrumental Asylum EP, this is every bit as enjoyable (if not quite as interesting) as those sides. Mike Vickers' goal long before he joined Manfred Mann was to be a conductor, arranger, and composer, and also to work in a jazz idiom.

ANDREW STETSON maintains a versatile career as a performing artist, clinician and educator. He also serves as Associate Professor of Trumpet at Texas Tech University, where he won the 2016 Hemphill-Wells New Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award. As an orchestral musician, he has performed with the Alabama Symphony, Albany Symphony, Arkansas Symphony, Boston Philharmonic, Colorado Music Festival, Houston Symphony, Lubbock Symphony and Steamboat Springs Symphony. In addition to performances with the Texas Tech Faculty Brass Quintet, Stetson has performed with Boston Chamber Music Society and as part of the Monadnock Music Festival.

This 2 CD Legacy Edition of "Elvis: That's The Way It Is" features an expanded version of the original RCA album. Guitarist Chuck Loeb is well known as jazz guitarist in groups such as Metro, Steps Ahead or Stan Getz's band. But he became popular by his solo albums as smooth jazz guitarist. His participation in the group Fourplay is a fruit of this popularity.

Rhythm and blues also known as R&B or RnB is a popular music genre combining jazz, gospel, and blues influences, first performed by African American artists. Writer producer Robert Palmer defines "rhythm & blues as a catchall term referring to any music that was made by and for black Americans." He has used the term R&B as a synonym for jump blues. Lawrence Cohn, author of Nothing but the Blues, writes that rhythm and blues was an umbrella term invented for industry convenience. According to him, the term embraced all black music except classical music and religious music, unless a gospel song sold enough to break into the charts. Soul music is a music genre that combines rhythm and blues and gospel music, originating in the United States. According to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, soul is "music that arose out of the black experience in America through the transmutation of gospel and rhythm & blues into a form of funky, secular testifying."
