Chimes

Hand Chimes are a strange quirk of musical evolution. Created as a cheaper and more durable alternative to hand bells, these giant mutant ninja tuning forks have a mellow sound that is best described as a cross between a xylophone, a music box, and a celesta.

BODHI is a Kontakt instrument designed for speed, flexibility, and ease of use. BODHI is mainly based on the Quartzophone, a tuned percussion instrument made of crystal cylinders, which produce a warm, mellow sound, and is ideal for creating soothing and reflective zen moods. However, it also includes two sets of chromatic windchimes, and it allows a large number of combinations of its 9 sound layers.

Hand chimes are musical instruments which are rung by hand, similar to handbells. Typically, they are tuned square tubes with an external clapper mechanism. The hand chime is characterized by a soft, clear, sonorous tone.

Madrugada has been Norway’s biggest band in over a decade, and the reunion three years ago, eleven years after they left, was extremely successful. What should have been a couple of concerts at Oslo Spektrum based on the 20th anniversary of the powerful debut album «Industrial Silence», has become almost 100. Now they are back with their first studio album in 14 years and concerts in Oslo Spektrum (with 1500 viewers) 4 and 5 February. A longer tour is planned.
