German thrash metal from the mid 80's seems to have a revival these days. Bands like Exumer and Accuser released new longplayers during the last couple of years, the eight first Kreator records have been re-issued as being part of the 'Noise lebt!' campaign and now it's Deathrow that gets back on the radar. DEATHROW’s third and most commercially successful album, "Deception Ignored" was originally released in 1988 and was a huge leap in turns of technicality and progression for the band after a small line-up change brought in some new influences.

Despite its very crappy album cover graphics, Ghosts Of The Police…Exorcized is a nice 3CD compilation by The Police. The first two discs consists of material from their albums while Disc 3 is a live CD featuring recordings from different sources. This was released by Analogkid in 2018.

Quick And Dirty is a 2018 compilation by Boise-via-Seattle man and band Tad. This consists of previously unreleased material from the early to mid-1990's. This was released by MVD VIsual.

Produced by Matt Hyde (Deftones, AFI, Porno For Pyros) and mixed by Jay Ruston, Thread continues to expand on Red Sun Rising's concept of mixing different genres and influences to create a unique sound. When asked about the upcoming album, lead singer Mike Protich stated, 'This album feels like a rebirth. Although Red Sun Rising played 140 shows on our last tour, it was not until we made this album that I felt we became a band. The growth and evolution of RSR that you will hear in our sound and our songwriting builds on our 'Thread' mentality (songs that people can love and sing with us but don't fit a mold). We aren't chasing trends and never will.'

Every Move You Make: The Studio Recordings is a six vinyl LP box set which brings together The Police’s entire recorded studio albums, as well as a 12-track sixth disc entitled Flexible Strategies, which contains exclusive bonus material of non-album recordings and B-sides.
