Filmtrax will release a soundtrack album for the sci-fi thriller Anon. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christophe Beck (Ant-Man, Frozen, Edge of Tomorrow, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Hangover, The Muppets). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 18 and will be available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Anon is written and directed by Andrew Niccol and stars Clive Owen, Amanda Seyfried, Colm Feore and Sony Walger. The movie is set in a future where technology has rendered privacy obsolete and follows a detective who investigates a serial assassin who has been deleted from all visual records. The thriller was released earlier this month in the U.S. and most other markets on Netflix and in the UK in select theaters and on Sky.

Over the past few decades, Jamaican dub has proved to be one of the most influential of Jamaican music forms, inspiring a range of modern genres, from jungle to dubstep. Dee Snider is one of the iconic protagonists of American heavy metal, having scored on his way, alongside major hits and notoriety, a huge amount of credibility and sympathy beyond the boundaries of his genre. Snider gained great prominence during the early 1980s as the lead singer of the American heavy metal band Twisted Sister. Twisted Sister’s third album, Stay Hungry, with hits such as “We’re Not Gonna Take It” and “I Wanna Rock” gained multi-platinum status with US sales of more than 3 million copies.

As the bandleader on David Bowie's five-time Grammy-winning album ‘Blackstar’, saxophonist Donny McCaslin collaborated with the Starman to carry forward his penchant for reinvention. With his upcoming studio album a daring fusion of vibrant electronica, and bombastic art-rock due this fall McCaslin applied that mindset to his own work, pushing his music in a bold new direction. Propulsive and improvisational alternative music combines with a heady blend of powerhouse vocals, saxophone, flute, keyboards, Wurlitzer, electric bass and pummeling drums that captures McCaslin's core roots while also bringing in more recent influences such as Radiohead and Bon Iver. Documentary about Royal Navy destroyer HMS Duncan, following the ups and downs of everyday life for its crew of 280 and capturing dramatic moments in its operations. The crew make final preparations for launch under the watchful eye of Captain Eleanor Stack, before the ship sets out on a seven-month mission to the Mediterranean and Black Sea. Later, HMS Duncan is deep in the heart of the Black Sea when a tense situation develops between the Royal Navy vessel and a Russian ship it has been tracking.
