Dracula: Origin reveals the origins of the Dracula curse. Once the ardent defender of Christendom, Dracula loses his faith in God when he is abandoned by his one true love after she marries. Dracula then makes a pact with the Prince of Darkness, and becomes a vampire.

It takes place in 1899. Ten years have passed since then, as Dracula, supposedly, was destroyed. You have to play the role of Alexander Morris, the brother of Quincy Morris, who died tragically in the final novel by Bram Stoker. Alexander comes a letter from the priest, who begs him to come to London to investigate the death of his brother.So, the Prince of Darkness is back, driven by revenge and hunger, the craving for human blood. If you dare, take the role of Alexander Morris, but remember that you have to go on a terrible trail headless corpses, vampire brides, and wolves through the blood soaked through the streets of London. You will be involved in the world of evil, where every decision and action that you are making, is inextricably tied to the fate of those whom you love.

The original story is more terrifying than any movie. Count Dracula has extraordinary needs, along with mysterious powers that allow him to satisfy them. No one really understands those powers or those needs until it is too late. There is nothing funny about the real Count Dracula.

Based on Bram Stoker's classic 1897 novel, this film from Francis Ford Coppola and screenwriter James Victor Hart offers a full-blooded portrait of the immortal Transylvanian vampire. The major departure from Stoker is one of motivation as Count Dracula (Gary Oldman) is motivated more by romance than by bloodlust. He punctures the necks as a means of avenging the death of his wife in the 15th century, and when he comes to London, it is specifically to meet heroine Mina Harker (Winona Ryder), the living image of his late wife (Ryder plays a dual role, as do several of her costars). Anthony Hopkins is obsessed vampire hunter Van Helsing, while Keanu Reeves takes on the role of Jonathan Harker, and Tom Waits plays bug-eating Renfield.
