"New Eyes on Martin Luther" is an experiment based on Nils Landgren's relentless conviction that “music is music” and “nothing is impossible”. With those words serving as a motto, the three ensembles on this live album dive in without preconceptions. The traditional German folk song Die Gedanken sind frei is here performed with a percussive flute solo; Landgren’s smooth voice floating on top of a funky rhythm. Sometimes he joins Capella de la Torre with a trombone solo and when all play together it sounds as if the music was originally written with this in mind. It moves seamlessly between genres and conveys the sound of skilled musicians having fun.

Clarinetist David Orlowsky is widely recognized as a musician of tremendous expressiveness and depth, and is acknowledged worldwide as one of today's leading interpreters of the clarinet repertoire ranging from Mozart to Golijov to klezmer. An exclusive Sony recording artist, David has recorded eight discs which have received three ECHO Klassik awards and won him a large and devoted following. David Orlowsky has appeared both as a soloist and with his trio (the David Orlowsky Trio) at a number of major festivals and venues, including the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Rheingau Music Festival, Lucerne Festival, Gidon Kremer’s Lockenhaus Chamber Music Festival, the Philhamonie Berlin, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and Carnegie Hall, with orchestras such as the Netherland Radio Philhamonic Orchestra and the German Chamber Orchestra.

Das dritte Album des erfolgreichen Elemente-Zyklus Die Capella de la Torre gilt als »eines der produktivsten und kreativsten Renaissance-Ensembles« (rbb Kulturradio) unserer Zeit. Die Capella de la Torre unter Leitung der Oboistin und Schalmeispielerin Katharina Bäuml gehört zu den bekanntesten und besten Ensembles für Alte Musik. Für ihre Aufnahmen bei deutsche harmonia mundi wurden sie vielfach ausgezeichnet, 2016 zum "Ensemble des Jahres" mit einem Echo Klassik und 2018 mit einem Opus Klassik. Nach den hochgelobten Alben zu "Wasser", "Feuer" und "Luft" beschließt das Ensemble ihren Aufnahme-Zyklus mit Musik der Elemente mit dem "Earth Music"- Album zum Thema "Erde".
