German power metallers GAMMA RAY will release their eleventh studio album, "Empire Of The Undead", via earMusic on March 28. The "Empire Of The Undead" title track was already been made available on the single/EP "Master Of Confusion", an appetizer the band released in 2013, just before touring the world with HELLOWEEN. GAMMA RAY recorded the new album in various sessions in 2013, with Eike Freese at the mixing desk alongside bass player and co-writer Dirk Schlaechter.

Just as many saw her annual Christmas show, and yesterday she was back in Bærum. Four Norwegian cities will be on the tour, but Sweden and Denmark will also be visited. Sissel is international, but it’s mostly now before Christmas. We see and hear very little from her for the rest of the year.
But the plates are coming close. Since 2019 she has released five albums and one EP entitled ‘Reflections’ with Roman numerals after them, two of which are wholly or partly Christmas records. The other songs include old “pop whispers”. How many of these have you heard?

The band revolved around singer, songwriter and guitarist Martin Coogan (older brother of actor/comedian Steve), who blended his love of 70s glam and art rock (David Bowie, Be Bop Deluxe) with a nod towards the best in 60s music to create The Mock Turtles' sound. . From 1987 to 1990, the band made five singles (the 'Pomona' EP, 'Wicker Man', 'And Then She Smiles', 'Lay Me Down' and 'Magic Boomerang') and an album, Turtle Soup, for Manchester's Imaginary Records, as well as a compilation 87-90.
