After 500,000 albums sold all over the world, the genre-bending jazz bandleader Erik Truffaz returns, with a brand new album. With his immense experience in music and the perspective that comes with age, Erik handles the trumpet with the hands of a master, drawing his inspiration from the uninhabited, the unknown, and everything that escapes the collective psyche. Along with his handful of associates (Arthur Hnatek, Corboz Benoit, Marcello Giuliani), Erik has shaped his sound. Best known for electronic landscapes on albums such as Solstice and Images of Light, Wollo actually generates most of his music with a guitar synthesizer. For Guitar Nova, however, he returns to pure, mostly acoustic guitar in an intricate, delicately balanced set of compositions. But it's not just another solo guitar album. Wollo multitracks his instruments in elaborate designs that have the same evocative power of his more lushly orchestrated synthesizer works.

Unrest is a new collection of masterly collages from the hand of Erik Honoré in which he captures, with absolute precision, the moods and tonal imagery of improvisations and weaves them together in a personal and evocative musical process.
