Portuguese, violinist and violetist with parallel careers in erudite and experimental improvised music, besides dedications to fado and tango, Maria da Rocha has in “Beet Root & Other Stories” her first solo album. Successor of the duo recorded with Maria W. Horn, “Pink”, this new title presents one of several versions already established for the work-in-progress “Beet Root”, after the first approaches inspired in “Circe”, by Julio Cortázar, in which the author’s compositions, mainly graphic scores painted with china ink and collages with vegetal paper, were interleaved with others of the Baroque period of composers like Bach, Biber, Uccelini and Corelli.

Le musiche originali della soundtrack sono opera del musicista e compositore Pasquale Catalano, ma in scaletta sono anche presenti canzoni di artisti vari, tra le quali spicca il singolo portante Vasame, cover di Enzo Gragnaniello interpretata dalla genovese Arisa.

In early 2018, the guys hit the studio with producer Drew Fulk (Motionless In White, Pop Evil) in Los Angeles to record The Silver Scream. Following the sessions, Ice Nine Kills initially teased the release with The Shining-inspired 'Enjoy Your Slay' featuring a cameo from none other than Sam Kubrick frontman for The Shields and grandson of Stanley Kubrick. The title The Silver Scream fits like a bloody mask. 'It sounded like an eighties slasher flick to me,' exclaims Spencer. 'It s got that tongue-in-cheek double entendre. I really love that.' Post-Apocalypto is the upcoming fourth studio album by American rock band Tenacious D. Produced by bassist John Spiker, it will be released in North America on November 2, 2018 by Columbia Records. In addition to core members Jack Black and Kyle Gass, the album also marks the return of John Konesky (electric guitar), Spiker and Dave Grohl (drums), who have all performed on previous Tenacious D albums. The album features songs and audio snippets from Tenacious D in Post-Apocalypto, the band's animatic YouTube series to support the album.
