In the not too distant future androids have come into common usage. Taking the androids for granted, humans treat them as if they were common everyday tools, while on the other hand, some people empathize with androids due to their human-like appearance (save for a digital ring floating above their heads). This has become a social problem and these people are frowned upon as a result. Rikuo, one who has taken androids for granted for his entire life, one day discovers that Sammy, his home android, has been acting strangely and finds a strange phrase recorded in her activity log. He, along with his friend Masaki, traces Sammy's footsteps and come upon an unusual café.

In Dead Ringers, David Cronenberg tells the chilling story of identical twin gynecologists—suave Elliot and sensitive Beverly, bipolar sides of one personality—who share the same practice, the same apartment, the same women. When a new patient, glamorous actress Claire Niveau, challenges their eerie bond, they descend into a whirlpool of sexual confusion, drugs, and madness. Jeremy Irons’ s tour-de-force performance—as both twins—raises disturbing questions about the nature of personal identity.

Good Morning… and Goodbye! is one of the movies from Russ Meyer's soap opera period. It isn't really a comedy as such; it's more of an extremely over-the-top melodrama. It's basically about a rich but impotent husband (Stuart Lancaster from various Meyer vehicles) and his sexually dissatisfied wife (Alaina Capri from Common Law Cabin) who, due to the lack of sexual fireworks at home, takes a blue collar lover. She does not hide this fact from her husband at all. This leads to all manner of confrontations where men and women talk harshly to one another Meyer style.

Leaving behind a colorful past, she comes to the shores of America in search of a rich husband and a life of comfort. Once she secures this in the form of wealthy fiance Roland Young, her past catches up with her, and she is forced to masquerade as a fictitious "bad seed" cousin to get herself off the hook. Along the way, however, she is unexpectedly sidetracked by the affections of a rugged sea captain played by Bruce Cabot.

An affectionate reverie about war, childhood, and British stoicism, John Boorman's Hope and Glory is the veteran filmmaker's recollection of the bombing of London during World War II. Set on the British home front during the early days of the war, this episodic movie shows the blitz through the eyes of seven-year-old Billy Rohan (Sebastian Rice-Edwards). At the war's outset, Billy finds himself alone in a house full of women, as all the men are called off to join the war effort. With wide-eyed wonder and an outsized imagination, Billy sees the war as a grand diversion, an extension of his world of knights, tin soldiers, and war games. As bombs fall and houses burn, Billy's mother (Sarah Miles) struggles to keep the family together in her husband's absence….
