White Coffee (2005). The first independent album of Beautumn of Alexander Ananyev from Sleepy Town Manufacture. "White Coffee" was released on the American label Infraction in the number of 500 copies. These ambient works were created at the same time with the basic creative work of STM. Inside the digipack you can find a book with photo-pictures, each episode of which is like the entrance into another reality. Autumn. Beautumn is entirely autumn phylosophical project, it was thought up in autumn, most of the compositions were recorded in autumn. Autumn here is like the source of inspiration and realization of inherent ideas of the musician. "Beautiful+Autumn= Beautumn" - a simple formula to create your own reality…

Vinyl FLAC (tracks) - 498 MB | MP3 CBR 320 kbps - 153 MB
1:06:57 | Death Metal, Experimental, Groove Metal | Label: Listenable Records

1st pressing on vinyl. Limited Edition of 500. 250 on Black (This), & 250 on White. Although their first two efforts, 2000's Terra Incognita and 2003's The Link, had been quite impressive in their own ways, Gojira's third album, 2005's From Mars to Sirius, was the one that really stamped the French quartet's all-pro credentials, gaining them access into the exclusive top echelon of the world's progressive metal elite. Meticulously conceived from the inside out, the record radiated a newfound confidence to match both the unprecedented diversity of its musical palette, and the evocative cover art (featuring a whale adrift amongst mystery planets) representative of its often otherworldly qualities. Yes, the band's primary influences – Pantera's heavy grooves, Meshuggah's icy technicality, Neurosis' post-metal atmospherics – were still very evident in complex new musical excursions like "Ocean Planet," "From the Sky," and "The Heaviest Matter in the Universe" (listen for their shared, Dimebag-inspired, jarring guitar-squeal effect).

Arild Andersen's Electra was composed for the Spring Theater in Athens for their production. These "18 Scenes," as they are subtitled, represent various cues and serial music for the production of Sophocles' deeply moving classic. Andersen collaborates with both European and Greek musicians here, among them the great vocalist Savina Yannatou, guitarist Eivind Aarset, drummer Patrice Héral, and trumpeter Arve Henriksen. The music is heavily arranged, taut, and spacious. Everything is understated yet utterly dramatic. Voices, drum programs - courtesy of Andersen and Nils Petter Molvær - brass, electric guitars, chorus, and solo voices are given direction by Andersen's bass and conducting, allowing a sort of musical story to emerge that not only informs but works independently of the dramatic work they accompany…
