Back in the bad old days of the 1970's, South Africa suffered under one of the most repressive governments the world has known. Most forms of fun were either frowned upon or banned outright. And the notion of a woman joyously dancing naked was enough to cause a riot. Particularly if her partner was a sensual, slithering snake! SNAKE DANCER tells the true story of a woman who dared to be different and, in doing so, showed a whole country that it was possible to break the rules and still survive….

During the Nazi occupation of France, a troubled young woman, also an atheist, meets a priest who converts her to Catholicism.

Miranda is a beautiful woman who runs a local tavern. After the loss of her husband in WWII, she tries out a variety of men. Over the course of four seasons she meets four men: in Winter the rich old council; in Spring there is the young chauffeur; in Summer the American G.I.; and in Autumn, the servant of the Tavern. Now she has to make a decision, who would be the best lover as well husband.

Grigory Chukhrai directs this dramatic story of love, trust, and courage starring Yevgeny Urbansky. Test pilot Alexei Astakhov was taken prisoner during WWII. Upon his return home, the hero of the Soviet Union was expelled from the Communist Party, fired from his job, and deprived of all decorations. For years he has been unable to go back to the work he loves. Gradually, Astakhov loses faith in himself and begins to drink. But the love of his wife saves him and inspires him with hope for justice.

Chris Flynn is driving his car for a job interview in another city. However, an accident with a trunk transporting chemical products blocks the highway and Chris looks for an alternative route through the mountains of West Virginia to accomplish his schedule. Due to a lack of attention, he crashes another car parked in the middle of the road with flat tires. Chris meets a group of five friends, who intended to camp in the forest, and they decide to leave the couple Francine and Evan on the place, while Chris, Jessie, Carly and her fiancé Scott tries to find some help. They find a weird cabin in the middle of nowhere, where three violent cannibalistic mountain men with the appearance of monsters live. The two couples try to escape from the mountain men while chased by them.

Though I’ve been doing what I do for about 22 years; that is writing and singing, and as the years have gone by, playing and producing too, Wild White Horses is actually my first full solo album. I was honoured to have the wonderful Luke Morley come in as my producer / co-writer on this album, which was written over a couple of years, and as you may already know, was recorded last summer at Rockfield Studios in Wales. I learned a lot from Luke, who raised the bar so high, that if I ever needed to find another co-pilot, there'd be an awfully large pair of shoes to fill…!

The year is 1977. Your nephew Alex has joined a religious cult and moved with them to the South American jungle. It's up to you to sneak into the commune, find out what's really going on, and decide if you need to get Alex out.
