The brainchild of Kevin Dodson, a former architect of the cult progressive rock band Madrigal, The Madrigal Project seeks to breathe new life into the progressive rock genre with ambitious songwriting, high production values and a stellar lineup of all-star musicians. The debut album '11th Hour' features an impressive roster of guest musicians, each bringing their unique individual talents to the project. The music on ‘11th Hour’ is inspired by legends like Gentle Giant, Peter Hammill, Jethro Tull, Yes, Genesis, Peter Gabriel and combines progressive rock’s classic elements with modern sensibilities. Kevin Dodson’s songwriting, drumming, and vocals are central to the album’s dynamic and unique sound.

The release of Opeth's Heritage in 2013 marked a fork in the road for the band and many of their fans. All but abandoning death metal in favor of creating a muscular prog rock of their own, the group's musical persona followed that direction on 2016's Sorceress and to its glorious extreme on 2019's In Cauda Venenum. Last Will and Testament, their first studio album in five years, integrates most of their musical aspects into a unified whole. Singer, songwriter, guitarist, and multi-instrumentalist Mikael Åkerfeldt brings back guttural death metal vocals alongside his clean singing.

Not often bands can evolve and present two stunning albums in a relatively short time frame, but this is exactly what DGM have done, offering a new album which is a substantial departure compared to the acclaimed "Life" which was released in late 2023.
"Endless" is a conceptual album that chronicles one man's imaginative journey to understand the choices that shaped his life. Through vivid storytelling, the album explores the eternal question - how might life be different if I had taken another path?
Musically the "Endless" offers a different side from the band which exposes a lot of different influences ranging from 70’s Progressive Rock (from Kansas, to Yes and Jethro Tull) even with a dash of Italian Progressive Rock (think Banco or PFM)…

When Full House was released in July 1970, it boasted some of the best instrumental sections in Fairport Convention's repertoire. Even with the then recent departure of Sandy Denny and founder Ashley Hutchings from the group, this was fast becoming arguably the strongest line-up in Fairport Convention's long and illustrious history. With Dave Pegg on board and Thompson and Mattacks at the vocal helm, they went on their first US tour in May 1970, opening for Jethro Tull. They returned in the summer to play the 9th annual Philadelphia Folk Festival on a Saturday afternoon where the Fairport rituals were duly carried out through the rigs, reels and laments of Fairport's Full House-era setlist with gusto, providing a perfect launchpad for the delightful guitar/electric fiddle duels of Thompson and Swarbrick. This classic-era performance from Old Pool Farm, Schwenksville, PA on 29th August 1970 is presented here with a fully restored and professionally remastered WHYY-FM broadcast.

Three CD set exploring rock's dark underbelly and explorations in the occult, witchcraft, bad majick and satanism from 1966 onwards. As the Fab dream of the first half of the 1960s began to fade and the acid took it's unpredictable hold, spirituality in it's many forms provided some outlet for many of pop and rock's weariest souls and most enthusiastic experimenters. As the rock became harder and more progressive, the drugs grew dirtier and peace and love began to falter, the individualistic indulgence promised by the occult and it's many sisters drew it's cloak around already established acts and birthed countless other bastard and hybrid offspring. Divided into several offshoots and outlets - Buried Underground, Phantom Sabbaths, Popular Satanism, She Devils, Folk Devils, Evil Jazz, Beelzefunk and Incantation Chants - 'The Devil Rides In' captures a snapshot of that time and place, when rock, jazz, funk and folk took a step into the darkness, returning with tales of possession, witchcraft, covens, occult ceremonies, black masses, sabbats and encounters with He Who Walks Backwards himself. Enthusiastic and celebratory in places, damaged and cautionary in others, these artists offered a counter balance to the thread of Christian and Eastern spirituality also working it's way into rock at that time. Sometimes overtly, sometimes veiled, but always with something to say.

Robin Hill was born in Yorkshire, England. His first instrument, at age seven, was the violin. At 10 he started to play the guitar, which he studied at music college. He later participated in master classes with the eminent Venezuelan guitarist, Alirio Diaz.
