The story so far… Grand Design was formed in 2006 by singer/producer Pelle Saether, and the band’s first 1st album “Time Elevation” was released by AOR Heaven in October 2009. The album featured guest spots from guitarists Janne Stark and Tommy Denander. The release gained massive success and was awarded ‘best album’ and ‘best song’ by BeRockRadio and received numerous top 10 positions for “best album 2009”. Several concerts, including the prestigious FireFest in Nottingham, UK proved that Grand Design also deliver live. The latest Survivor release on the market is a Japanese CD version of a laser disc Live in Japan 1985. The recording was never released on CD at the time, but more recently appeared as a budget release in the USA titled Extended Versions. However, this release was incomplete - it dropped 2 tracks. Now the set has been restored with fresh Sony 2009 mastering and is now available in Japan.

It's hard to believe its been five years since the last Pride of Lions album. But then again prolific songwriter, musician, and producer Jim Peterik has been busy. One of his latest projects was the Bobby Kimball Jimi Jamison project, among other things. The part of the pair, vocalist Toby Hitchcock cut his own solo album, Mercury's Down just last year.
