When Emilia Lajunen and Suvi Oskala make music together, they master the fragile tones as well as the powerful sounds. The duo definitely sounds like more than two instruments are playing here! Emilia and Suvi are today among the best folk fiddlers in Finland. With new, spirited arrangements, the traditional pieces suddenly sound completely different and very fresh. Here must be danced! The Finnish press praises the duo as "chamber music for the dance floor".
Incidentally, the duo not only has traditional tunes in its program on its second album "Piilokisa", but also new compositions by Mikael Marin from the renowned Swedish folk band Väsen and the charismatic Finnish accordionist Johanna Juhola.
