CASIOPEA's best album "Early Alfa Years", released in April 2012, is considered an exceptional hit among the best albums by instrumental bands released recently. The reason for this is not only the excellent song selection, but also the outstanding sound quality of the original master tapes from Alpha Records, which were kept at the gates of the city until then and brought to Sony Music Studios (Nogizaka) for careful re-mastering. This collection of gems from Cassiopeia's live performances, featuring four songs each from their three classic live albums from the Alpha Records era: "Thunder Live", "Mint Jams" and "Cassiopeia Live". Of course, the original master tapes were again brought to Sony Music Studios in full collaboration with Alpha Records for a high-quality HiRes mastering.

Carmen McRae - Recorded Live At Bubba's (1981)
Jazz, Vocal Jazz | MP3 320 kbps CBR | 45 min | 111 MB
Label: Fortune | Rel: 1981

On this CD, Carmen McRae is featured in a live set recorded in 1981 at Bubba's, a Ft. Lauderdale nightclub. Accompanied by a very compatible trio, including Marshall Otwell (her regular pianist of the time), bassist Jim Andron, and drummer Mark Pulice, McRae is in good form as she mixes timeless standards and a few pop songs of the day. Her vocals are confident and seem effortless, revisiting old friends such as "That Old Black Magic," a Latin-flavored "I Concentrate on You," a rapid-fire "Thou Swell," a miniature "If I Were a Bell," and an extended interpretation of the tender ballad "My Foolish Heart."

Ten Years After - Recorded Live 1973
MP3 @ 320 | 174 MB | Covers
Genre: Rock

Recorded live in Amersterdam and Rotterdam, The Netherlands; Frankfurt, Germany; Paris, France.
Originally released as a double LP set, RECORDED LIVE … Full Descriptionwas a response to the proliferation of bootlegs of the band's concerts. It was to be as faithful a representation of the band's onstage firepower as possible. In this regard, it succeeds; it's better recorded than their breakthrough UNDEAD, and the performances are generally stronger.
The highpoint is the jazzy, nearly 16-minute assault on "I Can't Keep From Crying." (Historical note: On the Blues Project's REUNION IN CENTRAL PARK album, also released in 1973, Al Kooper, who wrote the song, tells the audience that Ten Years After's version paid for his new car that year). There are also enthusiastic run-throughs of the band's best known numbers, including their salacious take on "Good Morning Little Schoolgirl" and (of course) their Woodstock showstopper "I'm Going Home."
