On March 15th 2020, Rammstein singer Till Lindemann and Swedish multi-instrumentalist / producer Peter T„gtgren played Moscow's VTB Arena with their project LINDEMANN to play two triumphant shows, which will now come out as a live album and concert film…
Lindemann, the now-defunct Rammstein side project named for frontman Till Lindemann and featuring multi-instrumentalist and producer Peter Tägtgren, are bringing their upcoming Live In Moscow film to the cinema.
Live In Moscow was shot on March 20 last year at Moscow’s VTB Arena, and is described by the distributors as "the great party before the global shutdown." The film will be shown in cinemas in the UK, USA, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Australia on March 20, with ongoing screenings taking place in Germany and Austria over the summer. Venue details are available by registering at lindemann.film.
The end of the 2010s was a bountiful time for Rammstein fans. In addition to another set from guitarist Richard Z. Kruspe's Emigrate side project, the industrial metal titans returned with their first album in a decade. All the while, frontman Till Lindemann was busy working on his own artistic endeavors, teaming with Lindemann co-conspirator Peter Tagtgren on 2018's modern stage adaptation of Hansel und Gretel. Songs from the appropriately dark and perverse retelling later found new life on Lindemann's sophomore effort, F&M ("Frau & Mann," German for woman and man). As on 2015's Skills in Pills, F&M allows both men to spread their wings away from their main duties with Rammstein and Pain. However, unlike that shock-hungry and often absurd debut, F&M balances the twisted camp that Lindemann is especially known for and infuses it with emotional heft.
Skills In Pills can be very off-putting at first. Given the lyrical content, it isn't difficult to see why, but it requires a certain period of adjustment before it can sink its fangs into you. At the end of the rainbow waits an inexplicably endearing work of cybernetic craftsmanship…
F & M (an abbreviation of Frau und Mann; German for "Woman and Man") is the upcoming second studio album by German-Swedish super-duo Lindemann. It will be released on 22 November 2019 through Universal Music and Vertigo Berlin. The album has been preceded by three singles; "Steh auf", "Ich weiß es nicht" and "Knebel", with "Steh auf" peaking at No. 8 in Germany. Vocalist Till returns to singing in German language on this album unlike the debut album 'Skills In Pills' which he sung entirely in English.
After an interminable decade-long absence from the studio, German metal titans Rammstein rekindled their flame, igniting a new era with their seventh effort, RAMMSTEIN. Celebrating the band's 25th anniversary, this precision attack is both a satisfying return to classic sounds and a fresh vision of the band that remains triumphant and, most shockingly, even elegant and graceful. RAMMSTEIN stands tall alongside the expansive scope and experimental textures of early-2000s releases Mutter and Reise, Reise, stepping aside from the blitz of their preceding effort, 2009's Liebe Ist für Alle Da. As Christoph "Doom" Schneider's drums pummel, the corrosive twin-guitar attack of Richard Z. Kruspe and Paul Landers provides a fresh batch of addictive, headbanging riffs.
