Midnight Love is the seventeenth and final studio album by Marvin Gaye. He signed with the label Columbia in March 1982 following his exit from Motown. The final album to be released before his death, it ultimately became the most successful album of Gaye's entire career. The disc was certified triple platinum in the United States, selling well over six million copies worldwide. It was nominated for a 1984 Grammy for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance, spawning the two-time Grammy Award-winning smash "Sexual Healing". It was ranked number 37 on the Rolling Stone list of the best albums of the 1980s decade and the NME named the album as its Album of the Year in 1983.

Let's Get It On is the thirteenth studio album by American soul singer, songwriter, and producer Marvin Gaye. It was originally released on August 28, 1973 by the Motown Records subsidiary label Tamla. Recording sessions for the album took place during June 1970 to July 1973 at Hitsville U.S.A. and Golden World Studio in Detroit, and at Hitsville West in Los Angeles. Serving as Gaye's first venture into the funk genre and romance-themed music, Let's Get It On incorporates smooth soul, doo-wop, and quiet storm. It has been noted by critics for its sexually suggestive lyrics, and was cited by one writer as "one of the most sexually charged albums ever recorded".

Marvin Gaye’s "What's Going On" was a landmark recording and is considered one of the greatest albums ever made. Rolling Stone named it Album Of The Year when it came out and, in 2003, it was ranked number 6, the highest for a non-rock album, in Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time. Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab has obtained the master tapes of this landmark album and for the first time What’s Going On has been released on the Super Audio CD.

The album range from pop standards like Kurt Weill’s "Mack the Kinife" and Nat Cole’s "Straighten Up and Fly Right" to soul classics like Rev. Al Green’s "Love and Happiness" and Marvin Gaye’s "Sexual Healing". Speaking of "sex", Alexander lays down the funk on an extended "soul/yard meeting" of James Brown’s "Sex Machine". Speaking of special guests, in addition to the younger Cole, another famous son, John Pizzarelli, takes his turn at the mike for a Jamaican-tinged zephyr through Johnny Mercer’s "Summer Wind", and Kevin Mahogany does the honors for the Ray Charles classic "Hallelujah I Love Her So". That is not to say that this is strictly a standards and soul album, however. In tribute to his early cowboy heroes, Alexander opens the set with Cole Porter’s jaunty "Don’t Fence Me In", and in honor to the country he is now proud to call home, he closes with a triumphant build into "Battle Hymn of the Republic".

This album titled Mississippi Magic because Terry's style is rooted in the Mississippi Delta Blues, and Terry was happy with the 2-track spontaneity of the recordings. All tracks were recorded live direct to the two track Sony Direct Stream Digital System.

More Stuff is the title of the second full-length studio release by the group Stuff. It was released in 1977, a year after their debut, on Warner Bros. Records. For the recordings, the group teamed up with Charles Kipps and Van McCoy, who by then had a disco hit with a song called "The Hustle". The band also covers the Stevie Wonder song "As", which appeared on his Songs in the Key of Life disc from the same year. More Stuff, like its predecessor, attained gold status in the U.S.
