When a late-night triad dispute leads to the death of an innocent man, the police make a swift crackdown on all triad activities in the area, forcing small-time gangster Fai into a corner. After triad boss Lok beats him up for not paying back his debt, Fai turns to crime for survival, and ends up getting arrested by the PTU. Seeing no way out, the increasingly desperate Fai pays revenge on the cops and crooks who have driven him to the end of his rope.

Rabbits is series of short films written and directed by David Lynch. It consists of an 8-episode series of short videos (DVD features seven of the eight episodes). The series was formerly shown exclusively on DavidLynch.com, but is no longer available there. Both the set and some footage of the rabbits are reused in Lynch's Inland Empire. Rabbits is presented with the tagline: "In a nameless city deluged by a continuous rain… three rabbits live with a fearful mystery". As with most of David Lynch's films, the score was composed by Angelo Badalamenti.

Ces images qui brûlent dans la mémoire ? le crime de masse, la maison familiale à Phnom Penh ? demeurent à jamais introuvables dans la réalité. Alors le cinéaste narrateur les fait revivre à sa manière…

As rumors circulate that the long-disappeared Indian gang boss known as Black Molly is about to return to the underworld, Tactical Unit officers Sam (Simon Yam) and May (Maggie Shiu) are prepared to tackle the ensuing troubles. This film is based on the horrific true story set in South Australia in the 90s and is about Jamie and his half brothers who live with their mother Elizabeth. Jamie is being molested by his half brother and a neighbor. They are friends with John Bunting, a guy who doesn't like fat people, druggies or gay people, and he doesn't care if you know it. Jamie is easily lead and John takes him under his wing. Jamie soon realizes that John is not a nice guy, he comes across nice when his mom and others are around, but shows his true colors when he's with Jamie. Slowly but surely Jamie's friends and family start disappearing, and then Jamie is put in a situation he can't get out of. But is he as innocent as he thinks?

If you follow Taiwan politics at all, then you should know that they're a mess. And if you don't follow them, then you now have a sensationalized primer to give you a heads-up. Lawrence Lau directs Ballistic, a crime thriller that uses the turbulent world of Taiwanese politics to tell a riveting story of cops, corruption, and how righteousness still has value in this grey-shaded world. Or maybe that's just what it wants to be. Actually, Ballistic is more plodding than powerful, and its themes don't really run that deep, but the film manages both interest and entertainment value because of its crime movie trappings and sensationalistic storyline. It's questionable if the film achieves anything, but it's worth seeing nonetheless.

Two juveniles get mixed up in a street gang, resulting in the murder of a rival gang leader. A crooked cop pins the murder on the boy, but a detective who knows the truth risks his career to help the kid out.
