The second album from GospelbeacH continues to deftly honor the grand tradition of West Coast rock and roll. This time around its more 70s FM rock than 60s AM gold, more cosmo than country with a theme of timeless love. Straightforward, inviting songwriting and singing by Brent Rademaker (a founding member of Beachwood Sparks). Warm classic production and tight harmonies once again by guitarist/vocalist Jason Soda. Recorded in Los Angeles at Palomino Sound, Jasons new 1970s vintage artisan recording studio. Third GospelbeacH core member Jonny Niemanns cascading piano, organ and mellotron ll out the albums rich sound. In the tradition of the Troubadour scene of the 1970s Another Summer of Love features some of the GospelbeacH friends and Los Angeles nest players and singers including, Pearl Charles, Miranda Lee Richards, members of Wilco, Mapache, Eels, and pickers from the Grand Ole Echo. The album artwork features re active photography by GospelbeacH guitarist/singer Neal Casal and Allah-Las drummer Matthew Coreia.

While Todd Snider is best known as a witty and insightful songwriter, in 2013 he gathered together a handful of friends who are also gifted musicians and let some of his favorite songwriters do the talking for a change. Hard Working Americans is a new band that features Snider on vocals and guitar, along with guitarist Neal Casal (of the Chris Robinson Brotherhood), bassist Dave Schools (from Widespread Panic), keyboardist Chad Staehly (Great American Taxi), and drummer Duane Trucks (King Lincoln).

By 1969, Gram Parsons had already built the foundation of the country-rock movement through his work with the International Submarine Band and the Byrds, but his first album with the Flying Burrito Brothers, The Gilded Palace of Sin, was where he revealed the full extent of his talents, and it ranks among the finest and most influential albums the genre would ever produce. by Mark Deming

Recorded with Thom Monahan (Devendra Banhart, Wild Nothing), Possibilities At Sea is the follow up to Blake's solo debut The Eleanor Islands, and features Neal Casal, Death Cab For Cutie's Dave Depper, and more. Blake's musical career began while she was in her teens by playing in New York City subways. She eventually graduated to playing smaller clubs and then made her way to Boston to study at Harvard University. There she continued to play live, and eventually met John Dragonetti (Jack Drag). The duo moved to Los Angeles and broke up in 2005. After hearing the songs that each had written about their parting, they reunited to form The Submarines.
