More classic 90s pop anthems next with huge hits from B*Witched and Five, before Busta Rhymes, Usher and Brandy featuring Ma$e deliver unforgettable hip-hop and R&B smashes. The disc closes with superb vocals from the Lighthouse Family, Simply Red and Elton John!

The final CD begins with a run of fantastic Indie and Synth-Pop smashes including The Housemartins, The Smiths, New Order, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Dead Or Alive, and Falco’s ‘Vienna Calling’. Debut hits from Latin Quarter and Sly Fox follow, plus ‘Pull Up To The Bumper’ - a big hit on re-release for Grace Jones. Soul music legend James Brown scored a big hit with ‘Living In America’, and Jellybean, Cherrelle & Alexander O’Neal, and The S.O.S Band enjoyed three of the year’s biggest Dance tracks. The collection winds down with soulful ballads from Atlantic Starr, Billy Ocean and Freddie Jackson before signing off with one of the greatest tracks of all-time; ‘I Heard It Through The Grapevine’ from Marvin Gaye – a smash hit again 18 years after it originally hit #1 after sound-tracking an ad campaign.

It’s great to see John Lennon’s posthumous hit ‘Nobody Told Me’ on CD 3 as well as singles from Lloyd Cole and The Commotions, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Sandie Shaw, Pretenders, Marillion, The Stranglers and Echo and the Bunnymen. There’s also some interesting selections on the second disc including Talk Talk, David Sylvian, Tears For Fears and The Kane Gang.

Following the recent release of ‘NOW – Yearbook 1982’, we are continuing the celebration of that phenomenal year of pop with ‘Now – Yearbook Extra 1982’; a limited edition 3CD.
62 essential tracks that we couldn’t fit on ‘Yearbook 1982’ include smash hits from The Jam, Soft Cell, Madness, Monsoon, Trio, Simple Minds, Japan, The Stranglers and Dexys Midnight Runners.
1982 saw a huge influx of new synth and pop bands in the charts – with many finding worldwide success complimented by the rise of MTV. Duran Duran cemented their success with the release of their ‘Rio’ album, and its title track is the perfect first track here. ABC, Adam Ant, Spandau Ballet and Culture Club with their Top 3 ‘Time (Clock Of The Heart)’ all follow, as do ABBA with ‘Head Over Heels’, the second single released from ‘The Visitors’ – the last studio album from the band for nearly 40 years. Disc 1 signs off with Captain Sensible’s No. 1 cover of ‘Happy Talk’, and Chas & Dave’s biggest ‘Ain’t No Pleasing You’.

Featuring 66 fabulous tracks that we couldn’t fit on ‘NOW – Yearbook 1981’ – including massive hits and songs that debuted in 1981 and have become enduring favourites.

Following the fantastic response to ‘NOW Yearbook 1980’ – we are thrilled to present more stellar tracks from the year with ‘NOW – Yearbook Extra 1980’. This limited edition 3CD highlights an additional 66 tracks from the charts of 1980, making it the perfect complement to any Yearbook, 80s pop or NOW music collection.
