Intent as he was on declining the invitation, apparently history had other plans. Motörhead’s then-manager, Douglas Smith, had run out of options, and Thompson was his last hope. “You don’t understand,” Smith had pleaded with him. “I’ve been everywhere. If you don’t sign them, they’ll probably break up.”

When Clémentine Delauney (Visions of Atlantis), Anna Brunner (League of Distortion), Marina La Torraca (Phantom Elite) and Amanda Somerville came together to form Exit Eden, topped by the release of their first album, Rhapsodies in Black, in summer 2017, it became immediately clear that this combination would be powerful and magical alike! The Hоllies are an English pop and rock group, formed in Manchester in the early 1960s, though most of the band members are from throughout East Lancashire. Known for their distinctive vocal harmony style, they became one of the leading British groups of the 1960s and 1970s. They enjoyed considerable popularity in many countries, although they did not achieve major US chart success until 1966. Along with The Rоlling Stоnes and The Sеаrchers, they are one of the few British pop groups of the early 1960s that have never officially broken up and that continue to record and perform. The Hоllies were inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010. This 6 CD set includes all their recordings during period April 1963 to October 1966 while Graham Nash was in the group, songwriting with lead vocalist Allan Clarke and guitarist Tony Hicks. Also included previously unreleased live show from May 1968, and unissued foreign language recordings!
