After having produced several reissues during the last fourteen years of some of the great albums Shorty Rogers made for RCA, it's now time to present one of the most valuable treasures that have remained unreleased in the RCA vaults. This album was entirely written by him, and conceived as a suite with the title of "An Invisible Orchard", and was possibly the most personal and ambitious project he ever put together. It was the last album he recorded for RCA, after having been associated with the label from 1953 to 1961, except for the year 1955 when he went to Atlantic as musical director. Unfortunately the policy of RCA at that time resulted in the recording being put on hold for commercial reasons. ..

Harlequin | 2014 | ISBN: 0778314960 | 448 pages | EPUB | 3 MB

#1 New York Times bestselling author Susan Wiggs brings readers into the lush abundance of Sonoma County, in a story of sisters, friendship and the invisible bonds of history that are woven like a spell around us.
Tess Delaney makes a living returning stolen treasures to their rightful owners. She loves illuminating history, filling the spaces in people's hearts with stories of their family legacies. Then Dominic Rossi arrives in San Francisco and he tells her that the grandfather she never knew is in a coma. Tess has been named in his will to inherit half of Bella Vista, a hundred-acre apple orchard in the magical Sonoma town called Archangel. The rest is willed to Isabel Johansen. A half sister she hadn't heard of.

This new album was never meant to be a replica of BTOT1 which has it’s own character and almost benefits from the naivety, lack of production and lack of time spent on it. A band of friends having fun and producing something to be proud of. BTOT2 will have it’s own identity, as I wanted to ‘doff a cap’ to BTOT1 but then take it all to a different level; a different interpretation, if you like. Back behind the orchard tree. Again - friends and family having fun but with more time to work on it; more knowledge to work it up - and more production ‘toys’ to spare. Finding that balance has perhaps been the most difficult thing about this project- but I think I have achieved it. Time will tell.

Producer/guitarist Tony Lowe and drummer Mark Brzezicki are at the forefront of ‘Invisible Din’, an album project that is a unique Symphonic, Progressive Rock experience, and a collaboration with musicians from King Crimson, Van der Graaf Generator, Big Country, Procol Harum, GTR, Lifesigns, and Landmarq, amongst others.
Released in November 2016, ‘Invisible Din’ can be compared to Genesis, King Crimson, Yes, Roger Waters, Alan Parson’s Project and Brand X. It is written and produced by Tony Lowe who recently co-produced the ‘Starless Starlight‘ album by David Cross & Robert Fripp and the amazing ‘Cold Reading‘ 2014 album by Bram Stoker, which became one of that year’s best selling Prog titles at CDS Towers…

Carted to Alabama under the cloud of dark politics, a band drew a glistening straight line from punk to country to soul to grand theater. On November 8th, the day after the 2016 election, Welsh-bred, Chicago-based musician and visual artist Jon Langford and a crew of merry-makers and alchemists filed into the NuttHouse studio, a one-story former bank building in Sheffield, Ala. (population 9,039). The musicians from Chicago, Nashville, Los Angeles, and just over the Tennessee River bridge made the pilgrimage to a place of legend and myth, where music runs as deep as the river’s current, to see what might come of it all.
