"Still Phishin: A Bluegrass Tribute to Phish" is a pleasant listen. If you dug "Gone Phishin'," this will instantly click as the two volumes sound like they were recorded during the same session. On the downside, the arrangements are straight-forward, predictable and show little innovation or interpretation. If the listener prefers tributes that sound 'very recognizable,' this dynamic may actually be an asset. Unlike the engaging originals, the disc works best in the background. These issues shouldn't be surprising; like most of the new Bluegrass tribute albums, the performers comprise a studio band that was created by the record company. On the upside, the song choice is fantastic. The selections represent both early songs and more contemporary material. 'You Enjoy Myself' may be the highlight and not just because it's the most played Phish song. The Bluegrass band does a wonderful arrangement and interpretation. As with the first volume, this is a prize for phans that enjoy Bluegrass.

Few music groups have been able to sustain a fan base as passionate and dedicated as that of Phish, and this entertaining guide rewards those fans with everything they need to know about the band in a one-of-a-kind format. Packed with history, trivia, lists, little-known facts, and must-do adventures that every Phish fan should undertake, it ranks each item from one to 100, providing an indispensable, engaging road map for devotees old and new.

This DVD is the best music film I have ever seen. It is not just highlights from the wonderful music festival "IT", but also has clips of the band talking about their experiences. If you have never listened Phish, this is a great place to start. They have the ability to just create music on stage, anywhere from 2 to 20 minutes long, and are able to keep music that continues at such length fresh and interesting. It is a pity that they are still not performing together, but all good things must come to an end I suppose. One of my favorite elements of Phish is that no certain member sticks out more than others. Trey is a wonderful lead guitarist, but without the other 3 members, they would never be able to create the music that they do on stage.

The upcoming record, produced by Bob Ezrin (Pink Floyd, Alice Cooper, KISS) — making this the producer’s second collaboration with Phish following 2014’s Fuego — and recorded between Nashville, New York, and their home state of Vermont, will be the band’s 13th album over a career that’s spanned 30 years.
