Pegi Young

Pegi Young is the 2007 self-titled debut album by Neil Young's wife at the time, Pegi Young. Released on 26 June, 2007, the album features Neil helping out plus help from Neil's band plus guests such as Rob Clark, The Jordanaires, and country singer Marty Stuart. She is dead now. This was released by Warner Bros. Records.

Pegi Young' s powerful new album, Raw, gets right to the point. Opening cut "Why" kicks off with Young' s impassioned alto, demanding, "Why'd you have to ruin my life? Why'd you have to be so mean?" Over the soulful Americana rock of her band the Survivors - led by legendary keyboardist/songwriter Spooner Oldham - Young taps into a surprisingly primal force. There' s a reason for that. Young wrote most of Raw in the wake of her 2014 separation and divorce from Neil Young, to whom she'd been married thirty-six years.

Neil Young is rightly regarded as one of the most influential singer-songwriters, ranking with Bob Dylan and Paul McCartney in influence and prolificacy. And much like the other two, he has amassed an extensive archive of unpublished and unreleased songs which he’s begun to touch with his massive Archive series of box sets. Road Of Plenty is perhaps the most ambitious unofficial Neil Young release in recent memory. It is a comprehensive six disc collection of songs which have never been released (and probably never will). A majority are sourced from excellent live audience recordings (since that is the only source we have for them), but there are other excellent quality studio outtakes included as well.

American Dream is the fifth studio album by Crosby, Stills & Nash, and their second with Neil Young. OVERVIEW In 1995, Neil Young and his manager Elliot Roberts founded a record label, Vapor Records. It has released recordings by Tegan and Sara, Spoon, Jonathan Richman, Vic Chesnutt, Everest, Pegi Young, Jets Overhead, and Young himself, among others. Young's next collaborative partner was filmmaker Jim Jarmusch, who asked Young to compose a soundtrack to his 1995 black-and-white western Dead Man. Young's instrumental score was improvised while he watched the film alone in a studio. The death of long-time mentor, friend, and producer David Briggs in late 1995 prompted Young to reconnect with Crazy Horse the following year, for the album and tour Broken Arrow. A Jarmusch-directed concert film and live LP, Year of the Horse, emerged in 1997. From ‘96 to ‘97 Young and Crazy Horse toured extensively throughout Europe and North America, including a stint as part of the H.O.R.D.E.

Road Rock Vol. 1: Friends & Relatives is a live album released in 2000 by Neil Young. The "friends and relatives" include Ben Keith, Chrissie Hynde, Duck Dunn, Young's wife, Pegi, and his sister, Astrid. The album features an unreleased song, "Fool For Your Love", which dates from Young's This Note's for You period and a Bob Dylan cover, "All Along the Watchtower."
A companion DVD/VHS video called Red Rocks Live, Neil Young Friends & Relatives was also released to accompany the album.
