Ronnie Spector (born Veronica Yvette Bennett) is an American Rock and Roll and popular music vocalist. She was lead singer of the 1960s hit-making girl group, the Ronettes and wife of Phil Spector. She has been called the original "Bad girl of Rock and Roll".

"Death of a Ladies' Man" is the fifth studio album by Leonard Cohen. Produced and co-written by Phil Spector, the voice of typically minimalist Cohen was surrounded by Spector's Wall of Sound, which included multiple tracks of instrument overdubs. Fifteen songs were written by the two over a course of three weeks, and Spector described it as "some great f-ckin' music".

Though George Harrison's solo albums for most of the 1970s and early '80s were uneven, often slapdash affairs, 1970's ALL THINGS MUST PASS is a brilliant piece of work. Produced by Phil Spector, whose expansive, majestic arrangements and sonic flourishes suit Harrison's songs perfectly, ALL THINGS MUST PASS eclipses everything the other Beatles recorded at the time (excepting John Lennon's PLASTIC ONO BAND). This sprawling triple record set gives the impression of Harrison being uncorked and pouring forth all of the songs and ideas edged out by Lennon and McCartney during the Beatles years.
