3 months after Woodstock, The Keef Hartley Band performed at the Essen Pop & Blues Festival in the Grugahalle in October 1969, as well as at the second edition of this festival a few months later on April 25, 1970. In contrast to the Woodstock Festival, there are sound recordings of these, which have now been lovingly edited and made available to a wide audience for the first time in almost 55 (!) years. Every Loser is the nineteenth studio album by American rock singer Iggy Pop, released on January 6, 2023, on Gold Tooth and Atlantic. Produced by Andrew Watt, the album features a core backing band of Duff McKagan (bass), Chad Smith (drums) and Josh Klinghoffer (guitars, keyboards). The album features guest contributions from Jane's Addiction members Dave Navarro, Eric Avery and Chris Chaney, alongside appearances from Pearl Jam guitarist Stone Gossard and drummers Taylor Hawkins and Travis Barker. Caroline International have announced the reissue of Iggy Pop’s long-lost classic Zombie Birdhouse, which is due to be issued on 28 June 2019. A heady concoction of drones, Afrobeats and freeform lyrics, the album was Iggy’s 6th solo studio album and represents him at his freewheeling best.
