Radio Nova

Il porte le prénom d’un roi de légende, mais c’est sous le nom de Kazy Lambist qu’Arthur Dubreucq s’invite à la table ronde de la pop électronique depuis quelques années. A tout juste 25 ans, le jeune homme, qui sort aujourd’hui son premier album 33 000 Ft., a déjà un beau parcours derrière lui. Ses premiers morceaux lui ont valu d’être repéré et d’emblée adopté par Radio Nova (la chaîne a largement diffusé le titre Doing Yoga) et par les Inrocks (Kazy Lambist a remporté le prix du public du concours Les inRocKs Lab en 2015).

As well as being a programme planner on Radio Nova, where he does his best to give airtime to others’ music, Max Guiget is also out on his own under the pseudonym Blundetto, up to his eyeballs in records, instruments and machines. Having graduated in the space of two albums from promising tinkerer to recognised artist, Blundetto hasn’t changed a thing about his way of working.

'Souffles'('Breaths') is the 10th album from award-winning French flautist and composer Naissam Jalal. Written as an intimate and inspired dialogue between wind-instrument players it features Naissam in aseries of duets with eight prominent figures in jazz and improvised music, including Archie Shepp, Yom, Sylvain Rifflet, Thomas de Pourquery, Louis Sclavis, and Emile Parisien. Blending her own breath with these exceptional wind instrumentalists, Naissam has created eight vibrant duos.

Karen Lano has been said to have started the Pop-Folk revelation in France. With her captivating voice, she mixes pop, folk and jazz in her songs which she writes and composes herself. She has just finished her latest French tour promoting her new album, "My Name is Hope Webster", which was released in October 2009. An intimate and sensual universe where pop, folk and jazz meet.
