Rne Studio

Ataúlfo Argenta Maza (November 19, 1913 in Castro-Urdiales, Cantabria - January 21, 1958 in Los Molinos, Madrid) was a Spanish pianist and conductor. He married Juana Pallares Guisasola, with whom he had five children, one of these, Fernando Argenta (1945-2013), was a popular presenter and popularizer of classical music in RNE in the second half of the twentieth century.

This American violinist, who arrived in Spain in 2012, is revolutionizing the landscape of improvised music in Spain. His band, Maureen Choi Quartet, has played at national and international Jazz Festivals, has presented his album "Ida y Vuelta" on Radio 3 of RNE and La Hora Cultural de TVE, regularly performs at the best jazz clubs, has toured by USA and its music it sounds in the Theater Harlequin of the Gran Vía madrileña in a show of first level that fuses the Spanish dance, the theater, the fashion and the music, created with dancers of the National Ballet of Spain. He is currently composing a new album and his own music, light and sound show designed jointly with Juanjo Beloqui and MiMart Studio.
