This 12-CD set, features 31 previously unreleased tracks, with material from the Summit Club and other additional recordings. The 76-page, full-color book in the set also features, an introduction by Wattstax creator Al Bell, plus new essays by Rob Bowman and A. Scott Galloway.

Jamell’s musical journey all started shortly after the day he was born. His Grandmother who was a church pastor carried him to church with her every chance she could. By the age of one Jamell, was already being influenced by all the church musicians, with his grandmother taking notice to his interest in music she decided to buy him his first guitar. By age 11 he was already an active studio and church musician as well as a vocalist. With his inspiration spawning from being raised in the church, Jamell groomed his skills playing behind numerous gospel quartet groups, from Rance Allen, Paul Beasley, to Donnie McClurkin, Marvin Sapp and a number of other well- known gospel acts.

Mizell is a 2005 compilation album credited to The Mizell Brothers. Fonce & Larry Mizell were brothers who played on tons of jazz recordings on Blue Note Records in the 1970's and these are some of the best, featuring work by Donald Byrd, Gary Bartz and Bobbi Humphrey. This was released by Blue Note.
